Car tire valve replacement tutorial

The steps for replacing the valve of a car tire are as follows:

Deflation: Firstly, the air in the tire needs to be released. ‌

Disassemble the old valve: Press the tire down at the position where the valve is installed to expose the valve seat. Then, cut off the old valve seat and remove the valve nozzle.

Install new valve: Thread the new valve through the wheel hub, ensuring that the small head of the valve passes through the inside of the wheel hub. Use pliers to pull out the valve until you see the circular groove behind the valve, which is designed to tightly clamp the valve base onto the wheel rim. ‌

Adjustment and fixation: After installing the new valve, use pliers to fix and adjust the angle, ensuring that the base is tightly clamped on the circumference of the wheel hub. ‌

Inspection and inflation: After replacement, check if the valve is securely installed, and then inflate the tire to the standard tire pressure. ‌

Please note that after long-term use, the rubber of the valve may age, leading to air leakage. If the tires are driven without air, it can cause tire wear. Therefore, it is recommended that car owners regularly check the use of the valve and replace it in a timely manner if aging or air leakage is found.

In addition, when replacing the valve, it should be ensured to choose a valve that is suitable for the tire type and specification, and follow relevant safety operating procedures to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the replacement process.
